"BodyWork" and the Structural Integration Series
Developed by Dr. Ida P. Rolf, Structural Integration ( SI ), is a series of systematic sessions designed to free the relationships of connective tissue (Fascia) throughout the entire body to better align a person in gravity and reduce the adaptations or compensation patterns in a person.
This type of therapy is broadly referred to as "BodyWork" because it differs from traditional massage both in application and intention. While it is deep work, it is nothing like a "deep tissue" massage - and is less focused on releasing areas of 'knots' and more focused on lengthening and balancing the body as a whole.
It is great for anyone with chronic pain or injuries, especially if there is more than one area of concern; Anyone suffering from systematic conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Scoliosis, Disc Disorders, Ehlers Danlos or hypermobility etc. It is also ideal for repetitive patterns (repetitive work activities, exercise and sports, musicians and more.) For more information on fascia and the history of Structural Integration - visit the FAQ page above.
Each session has a pre-defined goal that feeds into the next session, with small variances between the 10 vs. 13 series. It is important that all 10 or 13 appointments are scheduled 7-10 days apart and a session cannot be missed. Sessions will be done with the client wearing loose shorts and a sports bra for modesty with movement.
Please contact for any questions or concerns, or for more information on which series is the right fit - A series is powerful, but not always the right place to start.

BodyWork Series:
90 min - $150 | 2 hour - $200

The original 'recipe' of sessions - created by Ida P. Rolf, is designed to properly balance the connective tissue in the body to support the spatial relation of our bones in gravity.
This helps us create and maintain more upright posture and unravel the many compensation patterns life creates in the body. A great place to start for any one looking to find overall improvement in their physical ability and function.
Inspired by the 10 series and developed by Jason Prince at the Structura Institute - This series focuses on the postural adaptations found in todays society that weren't as prevalent when the 10 series was first developed in the 1940s.
Today we sit, type, hunch, and couch potato way more than we did a century ago, and this series is an ideal way to restore balance to chronic dysfunctions and restricted movement patterns
A series suitable for maintenance or a sneak-peek into what a full series would entail. The first two sessions focus on balancing the upper and lower girdles of the body, and the third session is for the spine.
While the 10 and 13 are series that focus on "taking apart, then rebuilding' the body - the 3 series is only focused on organization. It's not meant to 'correct', only Integrate.
As the name suggests, this is an advanced series - partially created by Ida Rolf and completed by her students Emmett Hutchins and Peter Melchior; This series is designed for those who have already undergone a series and have healthy ranges of motion but who are looking for not only postural balance, but functional balance in movement. This is a demanding series that requires lots of client involvement and will challenge both your physical and emotional wellness to help integrate them together.

Below are the assortment of other modalities apart from Series sessions - Some are done with client wearing loose comfortable shorts and sports bra, some are done completely draped with sheets and a blanket like most traditional massages; for more information click "Read More".
This session is a culmination of every technique I've studied; Pulling together techniques of Structural Integration, Scar and BoneWork, Traditional Massage etc. This is great for maintenance and 'spot work' for problem areas.
This session helps to balance the cranium over the spine while balancing out any asymmetries in the fascial bones and cranium.
Cranial Torque consists of gentle work from the collar bones to the crown of the head. It includes intra-oral techniques on the bones of the upper and lower jaw as well as the nasal sinuses with plenty of focus on the external face and cranium.
Discovered and Developed by Sharron Wheeler, a series of techniques are used to re-integrate damaged tissue back into the fascial matrix; and can mold the shape or contour of the bones to aid in Structural Integration's goal of restoring the way in which bones space tissue and serve as anchors within the fascial web.
Even a light massage should leave a client feeling like something productive was done - light pressure, deep pressure, this session is curated to whatever the body needs that day. Hot and cold towels, hot stones, and scalp massage are all available and always ready; customize the session with your therapist upon arrival and get the most out of your time to decompress.
